Schoombee Karoo Plaasstal, established in 2021, is conveniently situated on the main road in Middelburg Eastern Cape at the Astron Fuel station.

This venture was born from the collaborative efforts of the Vriesfontein team and Hugo and Telicia Wasserman, who recognized the opportunity to bring Schoombee Karoo meats and local products to the Middelburg community. Travelers passing through will find it to be an ideal pit stop, offering not only a delightful coffee experience but also a selection of Karoo meat. Additionally, we proudly feature locally baked goods, jams, preserves, and olive products.
